More treasures from my weekend excursion!

So today I headed out to Woodstock, about 15 min further out from Crystal Lake. The plan was to go to 4 different places I had researched, but alas I found so many goodies at the first one, the others will have to wait!

This place was absolutely spectacular. Since driving a little car, I could only take so much! Next weekend I'll be bringing out a truck to purchase a lovely vintage couch for our place. (Susan, Gabriela and my humble abode!)

The yellow piece ($6.00!)  I may use as a bed stand, but anything is possible once I start moving things around. The suitcase broken in half and collaged I'll use as wall decor. I found the prettiest vintage white gloves that I plan to wear quite often now for only $1.95! Then of course the blue capped chickadees that will gladly find their place in my room.
The elephant tin, well those who know me well..that need not an explanation!

The old vintage dressform my mom had found for me a couple years and I forgot it's been in the attic.

Now how about that trumpet?! I thought, what a neat piece to put on the wall!  Splendid! The jars will hold flour, sugar and all things sweet, but of course. There were also letters and numbers from cut up license plates that were only .10 cents each! I plan to incorporate them in a painting or two. I thought they looked lovely in the blue table piece as well!

Well that is all for now. I have found about all the treasures I could carry for this weekend and look forward to going back out there with Susan next weekend for larger pieces <3

Hope everyone is enjoying their Saturday! Stay cool!
